Exterior Home Repair & Painting

Exterior home repair and painting contractors are in high demand. If you need help this summer with your projects, you should contact your favorite contractor soon to secure space on their schedule. Many are already booked into fall.

We recently had the pleasure of helping one of our customers, Phyllis W. with her exterior painting and repair work (see pictures below). A new window was installed, concrete porch poured, and the entire home and garage exterior painted. It was a pleasure working with you Phyllis. Thank you for the nice review!

I found Cari at the Everett Home Show in February and engaged her services. She put me in contact with a couple of contractors. I chose one to do all I needed done (one was painting only). I was very pleased with the contractor and his crew and Cari’s follow-up throughout the entire project. Thanks, Cari. I’m handing out your card to friends to are DIYers. I hope they will contact you so they can enjoy some island time with me this year!

Exterior Painting, Siding & Window Replacement

Exterior Painting, Siding Replacement, and Window Replacement season is fast approaching. Contractors have multiple exterior painting, siding and window replacement projects already booked for spring and into summer. If you plan to have any of these projects completed this season, now is the time to act. This is also the perfect time to schedule interior painting before the weather turns nice and the contractors are focused on outside work.

The photos shown here are from one of our recent projects in Lynnwood. The owner replaced the LP siding with Hardiplank fiber cement siding, the windows with new Milgard brand windows, and the full exterior was painted with a premium acrylic latex paint.

Planning To Paint Your Home This Summer?

Painting contractor’s schedules are filling up quickly for summer. One painting contractor reported several weeks ago they already had 35 exterior projects scheduled for the summer! If you plan to have your home painted this summer it would be wise to settle on a contractor soon. This includes staining and painting decks too.

Most of the time contractors schedule their projects on a first come, first served basis. If we have consistent good weather throughout the season it’s a bit easier to stay on track. However, we all know the weather in Seattle is unpredictable. Rainy days will put most exterior projects on hold which can back everything up. Painting is one of those projects where flexibility is a must. Discuss any concerns you have with your contractor up front so they can do their best to accommodate your needs and schedule. The earlier you plan the better.

One of our customers in Lake Stevens recently had the exterior of their home painted. Following are before and after pictures. We have been fortunate to get many painting projects underway and completed this early in the season. June has been great this year for painting!
